It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

I was thinking more like LasVegasMotorLodge.com but HomelessInLasVegas.com could be pretty good also, instead of standing on a street corner with a sign maybe I could just have a Paypal donate button.

Talk to me...

Talk.us went for $659. A very good buy/investment.
The .com version of talk.us is a phone sex site. That aside, talk.us would make a good telecom site.

There are a lot of good .us sites out there nowadays, and even more premium domains in a holding pattern in cyberspace. Whether or not they will ever gain in popularity like their brother .com sites is another story.

If all of my .us domains were .coms I'd be filthy rich. For now, however, I'll continue to hope and pray for better days for the .us tld. I'm thinking maybe we'll know either way in five to ten years.

By they way, Carlton, you have some kick ass .us and .biz domains. Kudos.

Wow! I've just identified several available premium .US domains that would make great investments. Now I just need a good reason to invest!....

Without giving anything away, what do you consider "premium"? Exact monthly searches/CPC/comparable sales/etc.

All of those elements. The problem here is that I really don't see a true market for .US domains.

Am I wrong? I hope so.

Select .us on Namebio.com to see the recent (reported) sales for .us. As long as it is premium, I think your $4.99 investment will be fine.

Interesting statement considering you are speculating on some .co that has a no true market at the moment being so new, Spending $25ish a name.

Please share if you decide to pop on them :tu:.
