It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

I'd rather not give specific auction results but I picked up about 15 names. Not a cheap week but a great opportunity for some amazing keywords. Some examples I picked up: Florists, Apparel, HomeMortgage, WorkersCompensation, Aerospace, a few LLL's, StPetersburg, etc. This is probably about double what I normally pick up.
Some years are definitely "better" than others (ie, quality, prices, number of bidders, etc.) and this week always brings out a lot of domainers. I've learned to not try to base the overall/end user market of .us on this week but rather my sales and others, which have been brisk enough to warrant additional investments.

Well the last few days have been very busy with 2002 landrush drops. Today @ Snap was the day where the vast majority of these auctions ended. Bidding was very active for several of the better terms.

I will post a list of .US I picked up as soon as the domains are transferred to me.
