The latest DNJournal weekly sales report (http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm) has 6 .US domains on the ccTLD top sellers, including the top 3.
That's pretty big news for .US, but what is even bigger news to me is who is buying them.
ACT.US and TLC.US were bought by Howard Hoffman.
GasolinePrices.us was bought by Howard Neu.
Last week it was reported that Rick Schwartz bought Nashville.us.
These aren't newbie domainers desperately trying to pump up something else because they missed .COM as some popular domain blogs (or one in particular) would have you believe. I can't speak for these folks, but obviously they see something in .US ....
