I was wanting opinions on who you would recommend as a cheap reputable company to register .us names.

The cheapest I've found is $6.95 @ Moniker

i would just stick with moniker tbh, great registrar, you could find cheaper but not by much

At $6.95 I'd say stick aswell.

Would you really want to take a chance with an unknown registrar just because they'll offer $6.00?

Domainsite are a similar price at $6.99. $7-$8 seems the standard price for the reputable registrars.

You sometimes can get GD loopholes to reduce the price lower than $6.95, otherwise Moniker's deal is about the best as it comes (at least for any registrar you can trust). Stay away from 1and1, Registerfly, and Yahoo domains.

As most probably know by now, Moniker is the registrar I use most.

I know Moniker is meant to be the best out there, but was curious if there was any other quality registrars that offed a better deal. Thanks for the replies.

GoDaddy often has them for $1.99 or $4.99 (especially around July 4th ).
