I bought Pluy.com on a premium auction $300 at Godaddy. and I have placed it in an auction like flippa and make an offer here at namepros. Due to the good potential of the domain name, I have developed it into a website, into a gamers review and paid $250 for the designed. My main objective is to sell it much higher because there are payments pending on my behalf on one guy whom I trusted here at namepros. I have successfully drive traffic on the site, in just few days its ranking specifically alexa goes up to 500,000. So happy with the results and offers just comes in. Then the last2 days of the name auctioned on flippa I received an email, stating that I have successfully sold the name for $300. I was shocked and urgently called godaddy customer support. The call lasted for more than an hour and I am calling Internationally.
Two guys from the customer service attended:
the first one wasn't so nice, he just told me that the name was sold and he can't do anything.
the other guys said just the same and they can't do anything because the name was already been removed to my account.

here's my argumentation.
The sale was just a minutes ago and I told them that if possible to recall the sale
2.I will never list the name sale for $300 if I bought it for the same price plus they will deducted $90 for premium listing. maybe I was stupid to buy $300 and sell it for $210, I got an offer here at namepros for $500
3.They simply tell me to contact the buyer, and maybe then maybe he will send back the name. Ithe buyer whois is private and I believed that the seller will never reply in any message I sent.
4. They can't recall any sold names(they told me upfront) but when I bought ITP.com for $500, and receipt received on my behalf plus the successful transaction made thru paypal, but the recall the sale and they told me that the other person din't transfer the name, I know it was a mistake and I never argue on it because we know that theres no way to buy 3 letter name for $500.

I am writing and telling you this to warn you guys, The only reason I think that I forgot to remove the premium auction listing of the old seller and when somebody bought it, it will gone forever to your account. If I made a mistake on this, it was indeed a painful experience, a learning that will be remembered for a lifetime.

Hi just to clarify, was this sold as a Godaddy Premium Listing or in their auctions?

Do only the Premium Listings get immediately put in the buyer's account?

To list a name on Premium Listings you have to actively list it, tick a box agreeing to TOS, and then you receive an email with a transaction number and the name of the domain you have listed (not the price). The listing does not autorenew unless you actively tick the box for that.

Are godaddy on Skype???

@gmd - If it was you who placed it on a fixed price sale at GoDaddy, then you only have yourself to blame. If this was sold from a previous listing by the previous owner, then you would have a case. But you'd need to get lawyered up. They won't do anything for you if you don't have a lawyer working on your case.

gmd - Get in touch with a lawyer asap, and maybe send a notice to Godaddy if the premium listing wasnt posted by you!

Good luck!

For Premium Listing if Sale is already been made than GoDaddy will block that domain and transfer out to buyer.

I'm a bit concerned about this because I sold a domain as a Premium Listing, it left my account at once and I got the funds a week later (not the 5 days that GD say, maybe they mean 5 business days).

But the domain still appears in my admin list of Premium Listings. OK, it says it sold but the point is I can't remove it, it appears slightly greyed out if I try to edit this. I only noticed this because I knew how many domains I had listed and the total given for the folder was one too many.

But I have had no trouble editing or removing other (live) listings.

All my Go Daddy listings are offer/counteroffer.

That way, if I forget to remove a domain or if there is a glitch, there is no uncomfortable BIN to deal with.

OP's case seems to involve a former owner's listing, though.

Perhaps support can help.

When you place a premium listing, there is a checkout process and order number. Ask them to provide you with a copy of that.

I even have some that still say "processing funds" even though I was paid on them long ago and the new owner has the domain. I seem to remember someone else having a similar issue as the OP, but I didn't think it was with premium listings nor was it one purchased through GoDaddy. Very strange - sad that they are not being more helpful. Unless the OP made a mistake and truly did list it for sale?

I have a sold domain in my premium listings too.... Sold it 3 years ago and still in my list, slightly grey and undeletable.

However, yes, ask them for the receipt of the premium listing as suggested, maybe it could help.
