After DAYS of downloading, renaming, organizing, resizing, converting, uploading, adding, and shrinking, I am proud to announce that Avatars.cc is once again open to the public, with a database of 3734 images in 73 different categories/subcategories.

As you can see, I had a cut a few corners and just bulk rename a lot of the graphics, such as those in the MUSIC category. My goal is to one day rename all of the files according to what they actually are. I hope my visitors will help me with this by adding comments on the images and letting me know who or what they represent.

Anyway, if you're looking for a new avatar (note: Valentine's Day is coming soon!), please visit my new site. Feel free to post any suggestions you may have.

Edit: I WAS also going to ask for everyone's help in finding any adult images I missed, but I realized all I have to do is find the images under the "babes" category that are getting the most hits :td:

I've been getting some search traffic from Yahoo with the keywords "Avatar Graphics" (#8 on the SERP!)

Please post any suggestions you have, and let me know if you've downloaded any avatars!

I alloted a big chunk of my $100 Adcenter credit towards getting traffic to Avatars.cc and I began cleaning out a few of the junk/dupes/adult images that made it through my initial scan.

hey Jorge got few suggestions

1) the font of the directory is too smal make it a bit bigger, in fact all fonts seem too smal for me its quite a turn off..

2) instead of text ads choose image ads i know they pay terribly but users would get nicely targeted ads and a lil bit higher ctr

the nav bar eg: Home / Anime / Chobits / Chobits Chii (27) is too close to the adsense arrrghh u made me click on a ad! :D its good btw :p

I can understand how much work went into making this i tried it once and left it within 5 min :p
