I have recently come across a .com name available for an up and coming movie star celebrity - was very surprised to not see it registered.

Wanted to find out what I could potentially do with this name if I register it?

What are the key TM issues that I should be aware of?

Can I park the name?

Can I approach the star and offer it for sale to them directly?

Can I offer the name to some other company that goes about acquiring celebrity names?

Hi there, read my sig and follow it. I can attest first hand that it is never safe to have a celeb name. Any hint of commercialism (real or not), will hurt you.
