Customer buying a new domain name with budget above $1000, and possibly much more for the right brand candidate. The domain will be used to power a new global domain WHOIS lookup service including the ability to do spam-free and GDPR-compliant contacting of registrants to inquire about domain purchase.
Background
The world of WHOIS is changing. There are several themes:
- Conventional Domains vs. Blockchain: The arrival of new Blockchain extensions such as .BIT, as well as the vast array of new TLDs, is creating complexity in searching for real-time authoritative WHOIS records. Many public records are often days out of date from the authoritative registries.
- GDPR Compliance vs. Access to registrants: Many domain investors noticed a steep drop in domain inquiries when GDPR compliance was deployed. Why? You could no longer find the WHOIS of a registrant. To this day, most domains on Donuts have hidden registrant contact details. This is not acceptable.
- Centralization vs. Decentralization: There is a push for WHOIS centralization where ICANN-sponsored groups are investigating the prospect of centralized WHOIS. While there is a case for central lookup, the registrants must always have sovereign control over their data.
The project will address all of these problems and is expected to be live within the next 60 days. The project is in need of a suitable brand name. Epik.com is working with an international multi-stakeholder team to deliver the solution.

Looking to purchase a quality domain for no less than $1000 but if needed materially higher. Expected timing is to complete the purchase by Friday, February 1, 2019. Overwhleming preference for .COM but would consider catchy short domain hacks, similar to "whoi.is". Submit relevant candidates via PM.
