I registered a few domains through united-domains.de yesterday (the special 1 euro/.com domain action ) but almost 24 hours later my domains still show as "available" on whois.sc. I also did not receive an email yet confirming the registration of the domains. Is it normal that it takes this long at united-domains.de, and how do they prevent someone from regging the same domains in the meanwhile at a different site?

As I said in another thread, I register a few domains through them and had no problems so far....domains were registered in realtime.
You should mail or better call the support and ask what happened.

Problem solved! All domains registered as I wanted. There was a little delay but now all domains are registered and appearing as "taken" in every WHOIS.

I must say I like United Domains. When you make your purchase as a new customer you don't need to make an account, they do it for you and email you the login details and passwords.
