We domainers have millions of domains at least ,right?

We webmasters have million of websites at least right?

If we stop cooperation with Google right away, what will happen?

Why not we unite to build another Business miracle by ourselves?

We can have one group and company together to show our power!

We can directly advertise via our own system and get paid without sharing with google!

Is this anouncement crazy?

I think so.

Easy solution -- Stop parking, Start developing :)

A wordpress blog with half decent content will vastly outperform a parked domain.

G treats us good so with their adsense. Why must defeat them?

Why depend on someone else for your earnings?
Why let someone else limit how much you could earn?

Letting advertisers opt out of content networks, an increased focus on traffic quality, reversing our earnings if G arbitrarily determines they've paid us too much...

G might be good for advertisers but G is no good for me.

The main problem
How do you unite a million webmasters and domainers?

google starts lowering their payouts for parked domains because their advertisers are concerned that the clicks aren't generating substantial leads/sales leads (which is probably true) now everyone wants to demonize google?

google has contributed a lot to the internet, and we would not have enjoyed some of the advancements we have today if it wasnt for google. how many here use google search/gmail regularly? you're going to stop using it because their lowering their payouts for parked pages?

the problem here is that we're quick to blame our problems on other people. if we have a problem with google, it is our responsibility to innovate, and find some other means of making income off our web sites.

the fault, brutus, lies not in the stars, but in ourselves

It does make you think though!!!!!!!! Where would the general person be without google, yes there are other search engines out there, but to offer the services they do is great for the average family :)

Would have to agree with the comments ref doing something with your domains instead of just parking them, it will suprise some, just how rewarding it can be to spend some time working on something then looking at the end product :)

Agreed...
Here's a shortcut for those domainer's whom want to develop but don't want to waste time developing domains they intend to flip.

Develop some generic websites with original and unique content. However, don't put your domain name or logos throughout your website, that way if you sell a domain you can easily re-use your website. This approach works great with short acronym type domains that can stand for almost anything. For keyword domains you can develop niche sites like health, loans, cars, etc., and then use them with relevant domains.

Agreed. :tu:

And when you develop, contribute to the Web. Regurgitating content from Wikipedia posted on a Wordpress blog covered in ads does nothing to advance the Web, enhance public opinion on domainers, or make generic domains look valuable. It's not always easy, but aim to create a unique, valuable service or website with your domains that are self-sufficient from means other than 100% PPC ads.

Well said Steve :)

There are lots of good resources out there to help with blogging. One of my near-future goals is to start a health blog which breaks down information from scientific sources into information everyday people can easily understand. Someone could do this with chemistry, physics, nanotech, etc. Plenty of people are interested in these topics but most don't have the time us domainers do to read up on them for hours per day when doing our niche domaining.

Many of us really are experts in the areas we focus our domaining in -- no reason not to start a blog and share that expert knowledge with others.
