* 15% or $175.00, whichever is greater.
** Entry into Uniregistry Market syndication or custom solutions requires a 20% commission or $175.00 commission, whichever is greater per sale.

What does "$175.00, whichever is greater" means????

Please help/Thanks

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
If you sale a domain for let's say $199, $175 is their fee.

If you sale a domain for let's say $900, 20% is their fee
which is greater than their $175 minimum fee....and so on.

Exactly what it says, whichever is greater. If the sale is 500, the commission is $175. If the sale is $1000, the commission is 20% =$200

here's another fees..

Transaction fees
  • Service Fee: 3% of the sale price up to $5000, plus 0.3% of the amount exceeding $5000
  • Premium Payment Fee: 3.88% of the sale price (default limit of $5000) for payment by credit card or PayPal
Commission fees
  • Seller-Negotiated (no broker): No commission
  • Buy it Now: 10% commission (includes premium payment fee)
  • Brokered: 15% commission, minimum $175
  • Syndicated: 20% commission, minimum $175
Payout fees
After a once-monthly free transfer the following fees apply for payouts:

  • Fee for payouts by wire transfer: $40
  • Fee for payouts by PayPal: $10

there is still something unclear for me..
