This site is a custom coded, custom designed news aggregator with some awesome user features. It receives some nice traffic at over 200 UV daily.

The site crawls hundreds of news sites and blogs and cross-references each news story with Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and FriendFeed to determine popularity and quality.

Users can register and customize their news with several tools. The user system is a few weeks old, but has already achieved 60 members. The site's code is very clean, fast and makes excellent use of jquery.
