    Just got the email.

Uni market domains will automatically show in afternic's network.
Basically uni becomes an afternic listing manager.
Back of my head is saying we are getting closer to uni rebranding to afternic, or vice versa, in order to get rid of afternic's old platform.

    FAQ
What if I already have domains listed at Afternic?
Domains separately listed at Afternic will continue to be managed as you currently do. The Afternic listing trumps the Uni listing so you would continue to manage your own Afternic listings in your own account unless you removed them to have them feed in through the Uni Syndication account.

    What price is being syndicated?
If you have a list price it is syndicated as the Buy It Now price. Without a list price, your domains will still be syndicated, but without the ability for a buyer to immediately purchase the domain.

What is the commission for my domain if it sells via the Afternic Syndication Network?
The commission remains the same as the Uni syndication network, 20%.

Can I opt my domains in to Fast Transfer while using Afternic through the Uni Syndication Network?
Fast Transfer requires a direct account between the registrant and Afternic. Domains listed in the Afternic Uni Syndication account will currently not be able to utilize Fast Transfer. For now, if you want to opt your domains in to fast transfer you will need to continue to have a direct account at Afternic.

I didn't receive any emails from Uni...
+ I have rechecked via GoDaddy ~70 my UniMarket domains - nothing, they are displayed just as taken...

So it is in their plans still OR just additional few days are needed to propagate UniMarket DB?

    Thanks.
I guess, I unsubscribed from their marketing emails in the past - and that's why.

    Reply from Uni:

If the sale requires negotiations and the work of a broker, that $175 minimum commission will still apply. If the listing is sold with a Buy-it-now price through the Afternic DLS it would be a flat 20%.

Which is the same old 15% commission on brokered sales with a $175 minimum.
    And 20% for afternic.
    As usual.

20% or min. $175 for MakeOffer domains via Afternic...
20% for BIN domains via Afternic...
This is how I understand it...

    Do you use Uni?
The 175$ min is when you use Uni brokers.
    Meaning via lander.
    That's a 15% commission.

$17 5minimum has nothing to do with afternic.

    I use it.

Syndicated fees are stated on their website: https://uniregistry.com/market-fees-rules
    • Syndicated: 20% commission, minimum $175
Afternic is a new member of their syndication network, and it is processed like any other partner.

+ Ryan replied yesterday (see his quoted response above).

If you don't believe - ask them yourself...

    Afternic BIN FLAT 20%.
    No $175 minimum,

If someone makes an offer through Uni and deals with broker, 15% commission, minimum $175,
If someones makes an offer through afternic, same old 20%.

    And for the record.
It's not afternic joining Uni syndication network.
It's Uni joining afternic's syndication (see email and thread title).

Just think of it this way.
Your domain is on UNI make offer.
So its listed on afternic as make offer.

    Someone offers 400$ on namecheap.
That offer is relayed to afternic broker.
    They close the sale.
    Transfer the domain.
    Pay you.

Uni has nothing to do there.

We will see how it actually works...
As of today - nothing works... UniMarket domains are NOT visible on GoDaddy.
Just post in their blog about the upcoming event...

    Syndication forwards to Uni brokers...
So min. $175 for MakeOffer domains.

    ----

If the lead/buyer comes in through one of the syndicated sources, it MUST be brokered and would observe those brokered fees. If the buyer inquires directly from your domain or from Uniregistry.com you would be able to self-broker and the fees would be as normal.

    UniBrokerage:ON is strict for Syndication.

    Best,

What does that have to do with afternic?
    Are you nuts?

I asked Ryan exactly about Afternic, a few times.
From his replies I see that Afternic is processed like any other syndication channel, no exception for Afternic.
Offers will be forwarded to Uni brokers. Afternic just shows your UniMarket listings... - they don't process those sales.

    I asked them very clearly.

    Hello

I understand Uni has joined afternic's syndication network.
Not afternic joining uni's syndication network.
    So afternic rules.

I understand when we list domains on the uni market, they will automatically be listed on afternic, under afternic's syndication network.

Now if someones makes an offer on those domains, that will be handled by afternic just like any other domain under the afternic network right?

    Best regards.

Then before they answered I added

    Meaning afternic's commission structure applies.
    Not uni's commission structure.

    Right?

Is there a case scenario where the uni $175 minimum broker commission would apply here.

    On afternic's syndication network.
    Not uni landers.

    The lady said

    Good day,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Please be advised that we are still applying the finishing touches to this new feature, which you can disable in your market account here:

    https://uniregistry.com/account/market/settings/brokerage_preferences

With regards to the domains inquired for on Afternic, they would be subject to a 20% commission fee, in which Afternic would handle the sale.

Any domain inquiries made on our platform will be handled by our brokerage team as normal.

I hope this helps clarify. Let us know if we can assist further!

You will receive a survey within 24 hours, could you please rate your experience with us so we can improve our service.

    Kind regards,

Ryan (Senior Customer Success Representative) has confirmed today that I got him correctly (as described in my previous posts).

    I have nothing to add.
