Has anyone used undeveloped.com to sell domains? They claim to be able to increase a domainers sales by 54%.
Please properly configure ns1.dan.com and ns2.dan.com
NS and SOA records in response... They point to undeveloped.com domain.
Also I don't understand why you set MX record...
What purpose???
We never said to any user to use ns1.dan.com and ns2.dan.com. Please don't switch and keep using ns1.undeveloped.com and ns2.undeveloped.com
Yes, you haven't said this here.
But in your panel when clicking Nameservers button - exactly ns1.dan.com and ns2.dan.com are displayed.
I see MX record even using old configuration.
Why you set this record? I don't need any email monetization or something like that.
You're absolutely right, that shouldn't be the case. We'll edit the button right away.
The MX records are always disabled on parking for security reasons.
???
dig -t MX example.tld @ns1.undeveloped.com
And you will see it...
I agree that it should convey that message. The layout is fine. I also like the logo, and I think it is good they removed .COM from DAN. But I think the tagline should convey that they are about buying and selling domain names - not just transferring them.
Sedo has "Buy. Park. Sell. Domains". That pretty much says it all. Undeveloped's old tagline was also good, I think. But I don't remember exactly how it went.
Why would you use mx.mydomain.it ? You only need two of their nameservers forName Details Test status
ns1.undeveloped.com. SUCCESS
mx.mydomain.it. Unresolvable host mx.mydomain.it. FAILED
ns2.undeveloped.com. SUCCESS
that is the output of the verification testWhy would you use mx.mydomain.it ? You only need two of their nameservers forUndevelopedDan.
No, not Undeveloped support. The issue is with your registrar, you say you add two nameservers, but as you can see, their system erroneously adds one more, which shouldn't be here, as it prevents your settings from passing validation and of course nothing works.Undeveloped customer support keeps telling me their name servers do not have problems (one week now and 4 or 5 emails)
Great to see the innovation and congrats on the progress and hard work @undeveloped.
Perhaps i'm the only one but I loved the old green buy it now buttons I feel the new ones are much duller and less eye catching. Also I think the price/domain was bolder before or at least that was what I thought it used to be.
Another idea is to perhaps make more of the IBM partnership on the landing pages as that will engender trust especially with the USA market.
Other points about getting rid of the links in the footer etc. I concur with.
Just a few early thoughts.
Another thing: Many people are saying that DAN being a 3L lends credibility to their brand. I think that's nonsense.
Don't get me wrong, I love this platform, but end users don't give a damn about the price of 3L's and what it means to DOMAINERS.
Here is a question: How many of you use online services that are 3 letters long ? How about end users you know, how many of them use 3L named sites every day ?
Humans (not us, we are droids) relate better to a name that is warm and fuzzy or a name they feel lends itself to the service. DAN does none of that.
If DAN is the choice, okay, but remember that humans use this service to buy domains and need to feel that company is something they can trust as being user friendly. "DAN" just does not convey that as it is right now.
Keep "DAN" but make it more obvious of your purpose to END USERS and make them feel good about using you. Right now it feels like it did when I first got into Unix 25 years ago and the nerds didn't want us there. Hell, even Sedo tries to make it friendly with smiling douchebags, lots of text and nice colors.
Other than the name, I love the improvements.
I have spoken, your mileage may vary, Merry Christmas, whatever.

I can say for sure you have problem wherever the part that I quoted above comes from. Are you telling me that the problem is the same on four (4!!!) different Reigtrars?
And all of them (4!!!) have problems only with undeveloped name servers?
In your settings bring up page where the images are. Then click and hold on the background image. A popup with delete will then appear.I see no way to remove the background image
@Reza
I see no way to remove the background image
that was nice for me with undeveloped
and now looks f* .. no good

If you go into your Settings->Seller Profile, you will see the background image. Hover over background image and it shows an option to delete
If they add a light grey or green background to the domain info container then it makes for a better default look.now it looks much better ..
( I hate it )
You should remove the background until they fix the issue, the font became green when you set one, it won't stay white http://prntscr.com/oajfft http://prntscr.com/oajg6rIf they add a light grey or green background to the domain info container then it makes for a better default look.

I did mess about in Dev Tools with my own background choice and a change to font sizes and colours and ended up with something I liked.
Setting up a few text styles and having a script read the length of the domain and applying said style to the element would provide a means to better display short, medium and loooong names. (I think I set the first font-size to 4rem and the other to 2.5rem)

Did a mobile test too and removed the overly large top padding. (why is that there on smaller devices?)

In my opinion a default look with a gradient background like above but using DAN colours could make for a very nice looking lander. Accommodating custom backgrounds is the tricky part, although allowing the seller to select from a selection of styles or even allow them to input their own text and link colours could be an answer?
I'm no designer or anything, I just like to mess around and tweak things sometimes.

There has to be two nameservers for the domain, and your info shows, that mx.mydomain.it is in place of the second nameserver.
I don't know, if its the same for all 4 registrars, but what you've posted above – certainly not an Undeveloped problem. What does check with other registrars say? Can you post the screenshots from your registrar accounts, where domains' NS are managed?
Yes, as I already said above - Undeveloped is using the absolutely unnecessary MX record for their parked domains...
