Has anyone used undeveloped.com to sell domains? They claim to be able to increase a domainers sales by 54%.

I think a probable solution of addressing buyers not paying and sellers being in control could be to allow sellers to be able to send messages to buyer through chat box until to the point transaction closes. Obviously Undeveloped could still oversee the process but I think it'll enable us to remind buyer through use of chatbox regarding payment and would give us sellers more control.

I also believe we as sellers underuse chat box, before agreeing on a price provided its negotiated agreement, we can explain to buyers that there is time constraint, we could also set BIN and ask buyer to hit that as that'll require them to go through checkout their won't be non payers. I totally understand what you're saying and I believing an option for buyer and seller to communicate through chatbox could help us sellers be in a lot more control than we are right now.Yes true the issue is you dont have much control and dont see anything like the others show ie email etc so we all rely 100% on undeveloped following this up with the buyer i find if they dont pay in the first few days they never do pay.
It also would mean that there won't be snitchers, quite sure a platform that solely relies on a minimal %age of commission is perhaps scared to give away control because there's many people out there who'd go around them and close deals privately should they get the lead themselves.thats great idea
why @Undeveloped isnt doing it?
u can now ask undev to remibd buyer but its not same as u having control..its almost like undev doesnt trust enuf sellers they have skill to finalize sale.. while currently opposite is true and many sales now fail while under undev control
My understanding (I have not personally tried to sell on Sedo, so hopefully this is still correct) is that Sedo normally publish unless the buyer or seller pay an extra fee to keep the transaction private.
but how can this be platforms fault? or why do u think they would pay elsewere? other platforms do not have any special measures in place like charging buyer right away etc..so why should we think it would work better elsewhere? thoughts?

Are domains taken off the marketplace when a price is agreed?
If so, fake buyers can have motives to tie up a domain - to remove competition, to freeze it at that price while they sell it on to someone else, to hold it while they try to gather funds. Or they are just gathering data about what price it would really sell at.
Is there no way to put an advance charge/deposit on offers?
Its taken off while the sale is agreed but if you have no joy getting funds its easy to get it back listed.
Maybe the only way is for them to place a small deposit to remove fake buyers..
I think you either go all out and charge a small fee to weed out all the time wasters or remove the useless binding contract and accept more time wasters but more overall sales and $. For me either option would be better than what it is currently.
I see alot of comments about non paying clients and sold status....
I like how Godaddy/Afternic does things...just like any other shop...You go in and you must pay be that thing is considered sold. At worst, there is a set time where payment must be received.
I'm new to Undeveloped....
Do you guys take payments yourself?
whats your cut%?
Is escrow an option etc?

well domainagents charges like 20$ just ao u can makeoffr ... this can lose many leads too
Sold just 2 names since I joined Undev in April ($1.5k + $2.5k), other were lower offers. And yes, if the buyer has agreed on price payment went thru immediatly. But my portfolio is very small sample so 100% pay ratio is possible hereu mean u never had a buyer who did not pay? on how many sales roughly? cause 100% pay ratio is almost impossibke...on any market...but i do agree it seems to happen more on undev...vs say sedo or gd
One last question: Should I used my real name on the domain name landing pages or a business Alias..?well domainagents charges like 20$ just ao u can makeoffr ... this can lose many leads too
