Can you PM me more details? If you're redirecting from Bodis, the first load time is that of Bodis until the redirect is established then Undeveloped takes over.

How fast does this page (https://antiwet.com) load for you when you visit it?

will your team be looking into this then?

as I listed in couple of points... it cannot be a bodis issue. for the 2 reasons I listed.

obviously, it makes me and others with this issue very uncomfortable to know that it may be taking 5-10 seconds to load a page upon a first visit for a potential buyer. this sort of stuff is basically lead killers. or can be. as I said.. with new leads and buyers, we only get one shot at things.. so its gotta be perfect on first try :)

thanks for your help.

Hi Alcy,

We already did, our CTO told me it's not caused by us. The delay is caused at Bodis.

You mentioned the following two assumptions:

1... it works good on 2nd 3rd etc redirect...just 1st is bad

The above still doesn't prove or indicate that the problem lies with us.

2...it works good on 1st rwdirect for other places..

That's most likely because no other provider has SSL. They redirect from a HTTP to a HTTPS in our case and that redirect is slower than directly sending people to https://yourdomain.com

So you can ask Bodis to forward to us by using HTTPS as standard, that will decrease the delay for you.

Kind regards,

Reza

ok thanks for update.

is it okay if you post a link to one of my names so you can check if this delay exists for you as well when redirecting from bodis? I'm just trying to eliminate possibolity that it is strictly my phone or such... as this does not seem to occur on my desktop...

ok thanks

if u or any other members here... can tell me via any test methods your team can use.. desktop.. phone etc.. then that'd be great..

www.2015.co

however, this only seems to happen upon first time I go to the page when I restart my phone.. so if you've been to other undeveloped sites before, then the results may not be applicable to my situation.

hope you can shed some light on this issue I am having

thanks a lot as always.

It redirects to ww25 something then this, then to undeveloped. 4 second delay. Tried going back to this page, it kept hitting the redirect and going forward. Why not straight to undeveloped @alcy ?
On mobile atm

Just as slow second time round.
Whats google think of the bouncing around?

See a blank, white page here thanks to my ad blocker

Yes, because of add blocking I have my names sent to voodoo first with the clickable link at the top to take the visitor to a sales page whether with UD or someone else.

The add blockers will stop ads but it will let the domain name and link show in the event it is someone looking for a domain vs someone looking for retail services. There is no significant delay for me when doing this.

The solution is for us to point directly to UD...there will be no issues with delay in that event.

its just eaiser to manage through bodis if I want to redirect elsewhere at any time or park

many people do this

maybe most. so I'm hoping its possible for undeveloped to accomodate those people and fix delays. I don't really see them when I redirect elsewhwere.

thanks for trying :)

I think voodoo or parking crew or others all block the whole page.. including the top link.

you can ask createweb to test link for u if u wanna.. he tested some of mine in past and everything got blocked.. no matter park company.. just a blank page thats all

Entirely possible there are other blockers out there that get them...I am using an avast product. I will put a name below and curious if you and/or createweb can see the top link at least.

I plan to make a major change in how I do things in 19...as of now, Epik is where I manage names and register most new names...their system is great. I use voodoo since their click and origin data is accurate and is easy to manipulate to look for trends. Here is a name I can see the link but no ads: vinylgazebos / in dot com

Thanks creataweb for taking a look for me. :xf.smile:

btw, sorry to have taken things off topic a bit. I will be adding more direct landings to UD since they have https and others do not...I know, as an internet user/surfer, I am not a fan of being redirected too many times.

@Undeveloped Just a small request, can you guys add timestamp in messages when we open a message on dashboard, if I am missing something please let me know but for me messages older than 24 hours just show up as a date like Nov 19, 2018 instead it would be helpful if there was exact time so that following up with leads becomes easier.

Hi Alcy,

The url you sent me (www.2015.co) indeed loads about 3 times slower than when it would be parked with us.

The cause remains a triple redirect from www. to w25. to https:// to the correct destination at Undeveloped.com.

Everything that happens before the redirect to Undeveloped.com is propagated we can't influence, unfortunately.

What I will promise to do is to contact Bodis this week to see if we can resolve this redirect delay.

Kind regards,

Reza

Hi Umer,

Thank you for the feedback. Would a feature to mark a message as unread solve the problem?

Kind regards,

Reza

Hi Reza, thanks for your response.

I do not think it will solve the issue, here's a hypothetical example of why.

I get an offer on name and I counter and send the buyer a message. It has been two days I have not received a response, my next move/message relies heavily on time it could be the time buyer sent his first offer or its just I want to followup after specific hours lets say 72.

In either case, a timestamp would be necessary for me to evaluate and plan my next move accordingly, I recently came across this situation when I went in to counter it just showed a date and I had no idea at what hour the message was sent by buyer although technically you could find out that through your emails but that's a pain and a mere timestamp along with date could solve this problem.

ok appreciate your help.

I still do maintain that somehow this delay could be linked to you because of what I said before.. which is that redirecting elsewhere than to you, does not seem to cause delays... as well as the fact that I only appear to see this delay here on first access to a sale lander upon device reboot... not sure why.. or whether this is also true on your end.

all in all, if bodis redirects do cause these issues, then I think you have the good idea to contact bodis and try to fix... as there must potentially be 100s or 1000s of your clients who use bodis to direct to you

thanks!
