Undeleted Domain?

Hi,

I was going to register a domain name that expired 3 days ago:

Record expires on 03-Nov-2006.
Record created on 03-Nov-2005.

However, it says that it is not available,and Whois still shows that . When will it be available to be registered?

yep, that means it expired... then they owner gets like 30 day period or something then the domain deletes for others to reg. not entirely sure though.

yes, you must wait for 30 days period to get the domain.

A domain is usually in Redemption Period for 30 days. The existing owner can still get it out of redemption by paying the registrar's Redemption Fee. After 30 days are up it goes into a Pending Delete status for 5 days. After 5 days it will drop.

If someone backordered it, then that register will most likely get it. In this case it may not come into public registration. Watch the whois as it goes through the steps garpiya said.
