.uk.co names are shut down

All 8000 customers who owned .uk.co domain names were shut down this week when the Columbian goverment took back control of the .co domain space.

.uk.co were mainly available to capture typo visitors to the .co.uk domains, and were marketed as an alternative to the .co.uk domains.

.co is Columbia. They were basically third level domains of uk.co that were setup to capitolize on the popularity of .uk.co
