Typo Domains in Trouble?

Interesting article about how Google got awarded several typo domains. Relates to the owner of those domains putting malware on PCs, but I wonder if this will have effect on other typo names.

I'd imagine google only won due to the fact that the sites were potentially tarnishing their image... I'll have to check out the article...

I was thinking the same thing, but it's just a matter of time until another large company tries to take that ruling and put it to good use against typo domains that aren't malicious.

+ I don't think they would be able to get the typos if you're not doing anything illegal!

Just remember that disputes like these are decided on a case to case basis.
While google won that one, another company may not have the same luck.
