I think that was a pretty good price for it. I don't concentrate on typos, but I have about 15-20 poker typos and a couple of loan typos.
Most of the time the typos that work contain extra letters, (i.e. pokmer, pokwer, pokler) .. but the next best thing is inverted letters, like this one. Also, a lot of poker websites advertise the .net as a "free to learn poker" website on TV. So, sometimes the .nets get just as much traffic.
Of course the success of any typo depends on the amount of OVT the root domain has with extension. In this case it's 4581 for pacificpoker.com. You could probably expect 2-3 pay clicks per month with that name based on my experience with similar typos. At Fabulous, that equates to around $20 a month. You can have better or worse months however. My highest pay for 1 poker click was $16.53.
For a comparison, look at the OVT for partypoker.com, it's 43332. Obviously, you could expect much more type-ins and typos of this one.
You are taking a chance when registering a typo, but they can pay off. Most of the better ones have been taken already, though.
