My concern is that in almost every case cited, the price was for an entire, revenue generating business (website, IP, customers) and not for the domain name alone.

This kind of reporting is highly misleading and inflates expectations for typical domain valuations.

Although, other than the card one and maybe the jet one, those particular names might easily fetch those prices on their own now.
