Twitch.com finally acquired?

I've read no reports or seen any news anywhere about this except the fake article last summer about Twitch.com being acquired by Amazon.

I just noticed Twitch.com is now redirecting to Twitch.tv - Looks like a deal/sale was made but nothing reported unless I missed it.

Yeah, I didn't see that one, the one article I seen was it was acquired for 40mil, and the name wasn't redirecting just until recently.

Nvm though.

Yes the name was owned by some dude with a simple blog on it, he was getting something like 100 000 visits per day because of people trying to reach Twitch.tv, not sure how much he sold but probably more than he would have ever made with his blog
