I put this in another post but I figured I would start a new thread. Everybody should do this for there sites, especially if they have a GEO.TV which is up and functional, we need to create a .TV Media Blitz!
I've decided to launch my own press release along within Quinns,
I have just sent this to over two dozen tv, radio and newspapers in my GEO.TV area,
and will be putting it on over a dozen list serves tonight with hundreds of members on each list.
Here it is as a guide if anyone wants to do one for themselves:

Maine’s Own Version of YouTube Goes Live May 1st!
PORTLAND, ME AND SOUTH FLORIDA, April 30, 2007 —
Former WMPG Office Manager “DJ Mindwrecker” has created a new community video site for Maine and beyond. PORTLANDMAINE.TV is Maine’s own version of YouTube, designed to give Mainer's a media outlet to display and watch all that Maine has to offer. From bands, DJ’s, producers, artists, film and photographers, comedians, business people, as well as anyone who has an opinion or thought about Maine or the world, PORTLANDMAINE.TV has much to offer to all. It is free to join, free to watch and free to upload. Just go to WWW.PORTLANDMAINE.TV.
The WWW.PORTLANDMAINE.TV launch date is set to coincide with the May 1st Hollywood re-launch of the .TV extension. The .TV domain extension is set to be the new internet media platform, and many industry relations and web 2.0 experts expect to see a dramatic increase in .TV awareness and user base over the upcoming months and years.
The PORTLANDMAINE.TV site, although still in beginning stages, is functional, and will be updated and upgraded over the next few months with new features and fixes.
