I only have one .TV domain which is PowerPoker.com and I'm thinking about getting more. I been debating to get into either .mobi or .tv and my gut feeling is telling me to go for .tv so here I am.

I have different ccTLD in my portfolio and all of them are solid keywords and hacks.

Now my question is what makes a good hand reg. dot TV? Is there a potential in 2 words? If let say I search on domain and all popular extensions are taken such as .com, .net, .info, .org, .de, .eu, .co/me/org.uk except .TV would this be a good hand reg. domain? I'm just wondering.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
The best is something related directly to television, but as good as this (and sometimes better) are premium keywords, like "hotels". Below are the 2 word great keywords (digitalcameras) and one word GEOs. Then medium niches like "bicycles".

IMHO

Good luck! :)

Yeah I own some decent .TV such as Station.TV Belgium.TV Jersey.TV and more premium names. And I continue to buy.

Based on the number of offers I receive on my domain names, I can tell you that the .tv space continues to heat up. That and the amount of type in traffic seems to have trippled since the Super Bowl when bud.tv was advertised to the masses.

Try the sales section. There is a hand reg thread there that may give you some direction on what kind of names are available if you look around.

If you just want solid keyword domain, then best bet is to post a "wanted" thread. Be prepared to be flooded though because folks around here have VERY solid keywords in TV.
