I am also not sure about .fi . The way they are marketing the name is creating the confusion.

Of course it could've been acquired by some nimble domainer (but then I'd expect a for sale lander by now). We'll find out soon.

However, many crypto projects/companies do use .fi domains. Ethena, Lido DAO, Curve Finance, Balancer, DeFi...
(I've also personally sold one .fi domain to an American who built a crypto site. He wanted an invoice and claimed to live on 123 Sesame Street. I thought it was funny but Sedo intervened.)
