We are in Victoria. Tourists everywhere. Shirl was up at the harbour. Hears a Mom and teenaged son. Raised voices. Profanity! Then: "You are on Vacation! I told you to get off your phone!

And with that, she grabbed his phone and threw it into the ocean.

BWhaahaaaha a bit of an overreaction by the mum I think. Must have been funny as hell to watch though....lol -

Really silly of her to over react like that probably just going to cause the teen to be morbid the entire holiday. I agree that he should not be stuck on the phone the whole time but throwing into the ocean was a bit much...

"A mom grabbed his son's phone and threw it into the ocean" This mom act is not a good example; aggressive behavior is not the answers. Hope this kid wouldn't copy his moms.behavior.
