Can't say I'm a fan.

Not enough structure, too much white space, background is too vivid, colour scheme isn't good

Is this built using some form of blog software - looks like a Wordpress style setup.

Is it not yet finish? If so, change your perspective of making a website and start anew, make it responsive and informative without making it a mess.
