Transferred domain still appears in NameCheap control panel

I transferred a domain away from NameCheap but it still appears in NC's control panel. Why is this and will it resolve itself?

Where does the registry say it's at? You may have transferred it, but it's pending. Transfers can take up to 5 days.

Don't know much on Namecheap, but if the registry says it's elsewhere, you should report it as there may be a technical error they need to fix.

The transfer is complete and appears correctly in whois.

This is a common issue with some registrars including enom resellers which is what namecheap is. I have the same problem with pheenix and others. Somehow, their system doesn't detect that your domain has been transferred out. If you contact namecheap support they'll remove it from your account.

I had to contact support to manually remove those domains from my account. Annoying that this was necessary, but their service was prompt.
