Does anyone have any tricks to getting this done? I tried transferring a domain (well over 60 days old) that I got from snapnames to two different registers and both failed. The domain was unlocked and I had the secret key but just to be sure I locked it and unlocked it again to make sure there wasn't an error. I have emailed them and sent support requests and had no luck. I got stuck paying their outrageous renewal fee once and want to get this done before I have to do it again next year.

Worst registrar since register fly

Horrible support
Was unavailable by phone and email
Then unregistered domains now worth in excess of $3k while I was sleeping
Because of their awful decision to do this
Their lack of integrity
And the fact they wasted five hours of my time on top of all of this...


I pray that their karma comes to fruition and smacks them into the registrar graveyard next to register fly

Unregistered domains while you slept? Please explain.

My experience with BR has been fine. But I've never really needed CS help.

Brandon: try maybe resetting your "domain secret"? Just a thought.

Made a new account

Registered many great liquid domains (a year ago)

They sent a message asking me to confirm account details

I called, there was no answer
I emailed, there was no response

All of the domains were then unregistered

^ Yeah, I'd say that's probably reason enough to hate them.

I just reset the domain secret and it still says the domain is locked. Bigrock responded with a list of things to do that I already did. They said the domains not locked and its my registrars fault. I sent them a screen shot from godaddy and directnic telling me my domain is locked and they haven't responded.

Thanks for the suggestions I will just start emailing them 5x a day if they don't respond.

there control panel is garbage have fun trying to do your first push with them too.. i turn down domains when i see there at bigrick

I have not had any problems with Bigrock with hundreds of regs and over 100 pushes.

I too have a few hundred domains with hem and I only have good things to say (Their CP and Affiliate dashboard are outdated and a bit difficult to use though.)
Their CS team is good and they respond whenever I call them and they also call me back if there's any update.

I have transferred two domains from GD to BigRock and everything went well. Have you tried calling them?

I have transferred once from them, as I sold a name at sedo. I had to send a transfer request to this email: [email protected], which was helpful. Other communication channels like chat, or phone are completely useless.

I bought a portfolio a few months back that had names with BR. I transferred them away (4-5 I think off hand) without any problems and sold one that was transferred out to the buyers new registrar without any issues.

I do know their CP needs IMPROVEMENT compared to the other registrars that I usually use, but no problems for me yet.

You can try to send them a Tweet HERE , sometimes you can get a response on Social Media faster than support since they don't want negative PR bouncing around more than they like...

P.S. That doesn't mean I would reg names there over other registrars.

P.P.S. They are owned by the Famous EIG (iPage, Fatcow, HostGator, etc.). Just an F.Y.I....
