I just bought a domain on this forum. The registrar is ENOM.
I don't have an account on ENOM and when I had a look at it it looked like it costs money to have an account there.

So is it possible to get the newe domain on GoDaddy ?
And how do you switch both ownership and registrar at once ?

What do I need to do this ?

I really should have sorted this out before bidding on domains.

Thanks

1. account at enom should be free if your domain was pushed into your account

2. you need to wait 60 days before you can do a registrar-to-registrar transfer

3. not sure what you mean by "ownership and registrar". you either buy or hand-reg a name via registrar.

hope this helps.

Yes it's possible to transfer your domain to GoDaddy and once you transfer it ownership will already be changed to yours.

Ask the seller to unlock the domain and provide you with auth-code then go to GoDaddy and request the transfer.

BTW, You can open free ENOM account using NamePros Account Creator : http://www.namepros.com/enomsignup.php

Let me know if you have any further questions ... Good Luck :tu:

I just transfered 3 domains to GoDaddy. I am a newbie at this and they made the process sweet and easy. Customer support was great and everything went smooth including redirecting one website to another.
