I was just smooching round the web and stumbled upon a site with a very impressive landing page. It was only when I clicked on one of the links that I realized it was a parked page. After more research I dscovered the domain name belonged to Ricky Schwartz and the parking co. was TrafficClub. It was an adult site I stumbled across (I was looking for chocolate sites!) and although the landing page was impressive the actual ads inside were a bit disappointing. Ricky Schwartz made a few cents more though from my clicks no doubt.
Does anyone here use TrafficClub? Are all there landing pages impressive? And how many domains do you need to join them?

tried to join, but was declined because "your contact information was not correct" Doesn't even make sense because I always use the same address for all domain stuff. I wonder if my moniker rep can get me in? Any one know that answer? I will email him and ask.

If you feel that you are refused without good reason, contact the boss directly (Monte Cahn <[email protected]>).

He is very responsive to domainers' complaints!

To advaita:

Discovery of TrafficClub was the best that happened in my 8 years "career" of a domainer. It is, in fact, a backdoor for small domainers to use Skenzo.

Only domains having considerable traffic are efficiently optimised and will have beautiful landing pages. I know somebody joining it with 35 domains.

It is not overperforming accross the board, but for some domains with broad international traffic it is really overperforming! The only way to find out is - try and see!

Thanks dede - I suspect my domains don't get enough traffic to be accepted but I'll have a look

Update: I contacted my moniker rep and he did get me in.

The pages are either skenzo or domainsponsor templates chosen randomly unless you specify one. You can see a couple samples at sampleparkingpages.com

skenzo pulled their feed from trafficclub so trafficclub only uses a domain sponsor feed now.

I tried to join TrafficClub in October and got the message saying:

THANK YOU

Thank you for your application.

An account representative will review your application.
You will receive notification by email.

Needless to say, I didn't receive anything for a few weeks and then I finally received an e-mail beginning with "I want to inform you of some important and exciting updates with your TrafficClub account."

It went on to detail the changes and gave a link to my login page. I was over the moon that I had finally been accepted and went to the login page, but couldn't log in.

I replied to their e-mail telling them about my problem and they replied

"Hello,

We do not see an account using your email address below.

If you have any information at all that would help us, please send it to
[email protected]."

 How did they send the original "important and exciting updates" to the e-mail address then if they don't even know it??

The "----- Original Message -----" bit is still at the bottom of their latest e-mail, so they must be able to see that they sent me it.

Since 1 January Moniker and TrafficClub are taken over by Oversee.net, owner of DomainSponsor.

Here is a part of the most recent message from Moniker & TC boss, Monte Cahn:

"Skenzo has decided to opt out of providing ad feeds via the TrafficClub system. As of January 15, the Skenzo feed will no longer be available. As of that date, any domains you have selected to receive the Skenzo feed will be split between DomainSponsor and the new "blended feed"."

Therefore, forget the beautiful landing pages, comming from Skenzo!

As I see it, TC is now nothing more than DomainSponsor (Good for financial domains, by the way. Got a $19.89 click on Tusday!)
