Is there any way to see past traffic to a domain that was recently deleted or expired ?

Are you asking about expired or dropped domains? There's a difference.

I believe most registrars (ie: godaddy, dynadot) provide the traffic stats in their expired domain auctions. As for dropped domains, I don't know of any services that provide that.

Verisign used to provide traffic data for certain extensions, but I think they took it down. ExpiredDomains.net provides some stats, but not traffic.
