Are there any cases where a trademark owner did not pursue legal action against a TM-ed domain holder and, in fact, allowed the person to continue using the domain?

Your question answers itself..."are they any cases..." well if there was a "case" then obviously legal action is being pursued. And if it wasn't...well how would you even know?

In any situation...there are millions of TM violation domains that go unnoticed for whatever reason by the TM holder. Microsoft has started an initiative to push larger corporations into pursuing legal action against TM violators.

Personally, 2 of my domains were challenged with C+Ds, (one multiple times), but I replied in a professional and courteous manner and proven my good faith with the domains. They never filed.

The answer to your question is yes. Just know that you are playing with fire whenever you are flirting with other's TMs.

well i had and still trademark names for example i had walmartproducts.com and walmartbrands.com and they filed a dispute and they agreed to settle and they paid me 500 dollars and i also had chasebankna.com and chasecreditbank.com and they paid me 1000 dollars and target settled with me for the same amount i also have names which they contacted me and they never did anything i still have them.

Your successfull cybersquatting efforts aside, the OP is asking about a TM holder not taking ation against a domain owner.
