hi there.. is there a way i can check to see in my domain name is ok and will not get me in trouble for trademarks.. ive used estibots and it says its fine but just wanted to double check.

USPTO.gov is good. You can Google to find similar sites for other countries.

Anybody can start a WIPO/UDRP action against any domain at any time. Although this is rare.

The best answer IMHO is stick to lower cost domains. It costs $1500 plus at least $5000 for the lawyer to challenge a domain. Not only is there less to lose with lower cost domains, the other side has less to gain. With good lower cost domains the ROI is higher also.

I have been using USPTO.gov too. It is a good tool if you want to check again if your domain is okay. I found the tool very precise and have been using it with every now and then to check my domain.
