Have you heard of boardtracker<dot>com?

Was doing a Google search on one of my domains, and saw an entry for that name I'd posted here in an NP forum. Clicked on it, and it took me to a section in boardtracker that listed 60 of my posts on NP. It looks like it lists postings from many forums...32,767 of them.

Seems to work on posts older than two days.

Kind of a creepy feeling, though...

Did you think it ws creepy when you found your domain in google?

BoardTracker is a special search engine for BoardTracker... AND it is also a system for tracking boards and bringing you closer to them.. you can get alerts from BoardTracker whenever someone (else?) mentions you or your domains for example on the boards
Plus as I said.. you can use it to search all the boards boards out there

1. Why is it that NamePros always has representatives from companies signing up right after a user makes a comment about the company?
2. It sounds great, but it must be based on google and the pages it has spidered. That means the information could be months out of date, if the information is complete.
3. I don't think I'd want to just look at my posts. I can see the number I have by viewing my profile, and rarely do I read old posts of mine just for fun.

I think I am missing the whole point of this service.

because this is the authoritative place for this industry - it's a good sign

I do think it's useful for folks trying to find a forum dealing with who-knows-what obscure subject, especially for those who can't seem to search using google. Then again, how are these internet-challenged folks gonna find this site?
