Tournament Arcade
We have worked very hard on the release of our latest application. It is called Tournament Arcade. Basically what this application lets you do is setup public or private tournaments on over 1300 high score compatible games, letting users compete against a private circle of friends or choose to compete in public tournaments against all of Facebook. Using Facebook's invite and notification system to the fullest, this is the most viral arcade on Facebook to-date. The content management system for the arcade itself is very powerful, and the tournament system was developed to cover everything in a typical flash game tournament environment.
Main Script Features
Arcade CMS - The content management system for the arcade includes a highscore API to add games easily via an administration panel, great pagination on the games directory, discussion boards for each game and tournament, independent high score listings for both games and tournaments, and more!
Highscore API - The friendly highscore API is very easy to use and understand, welly documented, and can easily turn any open-source flash game into a compatible game with our system.
Score Boards - Scoreboards are included on both independent games and in the tournaments themselves. Users can compete on a tournament level or just in the games themselves.
Feed System - Allows users to posts results of their scores in regular gameplay.
Invite System - Take full use of the Facebook invitation system on the invite page.
Games Database - We have included over 1300 games compatible with our high score and tournament system.
Administration Panel - Manage all the games, script settings, and advertisements via a user-friendly administration panel.
Tournament Module Features
Create Tournaments - Users can create public or private tournaments from our preinstalled selection of over 1300 games. They can set the time these tournaments end, or choose to end these tournaments manually at any given time.
Public Tournaments - Users can setup public tournaments where any Facebook user can compete freely.
Private Tournaments - Users can setup private tournaments where only they can choose which of their friends can compete in these exclusive tournaments. Private tournaments take use of the invite feature, where when a user sends a invite to that tournament, they are automatically added to that tournament roster.
Notifications - This is a very viral feature. Notifications are sent whenever a user beats another user's score, aswell as when a tournament has ended and a winner is selected.
Tournament Listings - Users can browse all active and closed tournaments, compete in anything public (or private if they were invited).
My Tournaments - Users can manage their own tournaments (private and public) and choose to end those tournaments manually at will.
