As a domain collector, my passion for domains goes beyond their role as website addresses. Recently, I registered the Arabic domains مجوهرات.com (jewelry) and القطط.com (cats) for just $10 each, reinforcing my belief that top-level domains (TLDs) can be much more than URLs—they can be collectibles, akin to rare pink diamonds. In the Arab world, words like “مجوهرات” carry deep cultural resonance, evoking beauty and identity. Similarly, as a Chinese collector, I’m drawn to domains like “雪.com” (snow) or “美丽.com” (beauty) purely for their linguistic charm, not for building websites. This emotional connection transforms domains into digital treasures, much like art or jewelry. The value of TLDs lies not only in their commercial potential but also in their scarcity and symbolism. Just as pink diamonds are prized for their rarity, unique TLDs hold immense appeal. With the rise of blockchain and NFTs, domains could be tokenized, becoming coveted assets in the digital marketplace. This trend suggests domain collecting is emerging as a new category of collectibles. My journey shows that whether it’s the Chinese “snow” or the Arabic “jewelry,” TLDs transcend functionality. They are cultural symbols, emotional keepsakes, and investments in the future—true gems of the digital world.

Yeah, it's getting rather spammy.

These domains were available to register in 2025 because no one cares about them.

I don't want to communicate with someone like you who has been eliminated by the times. I have told you before not to leave a message under my post.

Sorry, but that's not how a forum works.

Mocking and ridiculing others' alternative domain investment ideas is not the attitude one should have. When discussing IDN domain names on the forum, you accused me of sending spam emails. Your arrogance towards IDN domain names and strict emphasis on racial discrimination, so I won't be polite to you at all.

It's more about you starting a lot of the same showcase threads here in the General Domain Discussion section, instead of the Marketplace, or Niche Domains section.

There's nothing wrong with you registering domains, but please limit your threads here. Maybe combine them in one thread.

It is appreciated.

Furthermore, if you're not looking for comments, then what exactly is your purpose with posting all these threads?

Don't make excuses, you started mocking me when I posted my first post

Again, in bold: Maybe combine them in one thread.

Where?

The only time I can remember interacting with you is in a very similar thread, where you were marketing your Thai domains as some status symbol or display of wealth.

Huh. That escalated quickly.

You overestimate yourself too much. To be honest, you are not my marketing target at all. You are not qualified enough. I'm just here to talk about the future investment direction of domain names. Let me tell you again, you actually don't like my investment ideas. Don't shamelessly leave comments under my posts in the future.

They were very transparent in one of their previous threads that the purpose of registering their IDN names was for bragging rights.

I assume the same goes for these posts.

Yes, you're right. This is like making Rolex watches, I want to develop top-level IDN domains into top-level luxury goods. More promising than your 4L and 5L options.

At the risk of alienating well-meaning participants, I do understand something of what superidn is trying to convey. An early post (granted, covering much the same ground) made a key point germane to all domainers: "Words have no property rights for thousands of years. In the .com era, the property rights can be traded..." With domain investing, brand development does not necessarily hinge on hiring a lawyer and filing for somewhat expensive trademark rights (which, by the way, I've experienced). With foresight, about US$10 can corral a potentially valuable .com space.

As for IDN, every symbol or word is of course not equal. Some have interesting meanings or designs. I've owned Thai letters which I've allowed to expire. But there is some magic to owning a single-character .com domain. I'm rather proud to own ✫.com (bonus address xn--3ci.com) and also a few emoji domains.

Congratulations on having these enviable emoji symbols, which will become one carat red diamonds in the future. In the era of digital assets, symbols are pink diamonds and red diamonds. I like to collect various symbols. For example:
ᒿ. com xn-die.com
ᗱ.com xn--3qe.com
𐤱.com xn--bl9c.com

What a beautiful way to think of domains :)

Especially if NFT's make a comeback
