I am trying to determine the best places to try and catch .cc drops.

Pheenix charges a minimum $60 (IIRC) + bids if it goes to private auction.

It looks like Dynadot charges $40 if singly snagged.

I do not like the public auction format, so DropCatch is out.

Does anyone know of any other good venues to catch .cc's?

I dont know an answer. But I wondered if that is very competitive?

Yes I think it's competitive at the level of LLL.cc that I've been looking at. I've had success with Pheenix on the Chinese premium LLL, but there are other bidders in the auction who seem more than willing to pay even more than I see people paying on GD Expiration for the same thing.

I'm also still not exactly sure when drop-time is. It seems like it may occur at 5AM East Coast US time.

LLL.cc are now popular on the drop? back in the day I was manually drop catching 2 character names.

@Sam you shoulda kept those! Apparently the Chinese like the extension.

As for keyword .cc's -- I am not a believer at present.

I could only get $30 for MutualFund.cc in a 30-day Flippa auction a month ago:

The really short names are another thing altogether. LLL.cc (without vowels or V) started going for $300 in GD expiring a couple months ago. And it looks like people are even paying $60+ to catch LLL.cc with vowels now.
