Tons of two word domains being sold

I've been searching through marketplaces such as Flippa and Freemarket for the past two weeks and have seen a explosion of two word domains for sale. Also surprisingly a lot of them are being sold for cheap - I saw a domain, resortswap.com being sold for $3?!

Does anyone else notice this trend?

Wouldn't have paid $1 more for that domain tbh... With two keyword .COM's, it all depends on the exact KW search volume and the industry it belongs to.
