domain TomarSol.com (sun bathing in spanish)

Tomar el Sol means literally to drink the sun but TOMAR SOL is short for "tanning/sun bathing"

I am 100% sure of the translation and I thought it sounded like a good Spanish generic.

About 600K google hits so it is used frequently.

Any thoughts?

Ok, lets divide this in two parts:

1.- Translation

Sorry to disagree: Tomar sol - Take sun - No sunbathing.

Tomar EL sol - Sunbathing

No one says "Tomar Sol" but "Tomar el Sol"

2.- Facts

First, TomarelSol.com is free if you still interested.

Second, even if using the pronoun EL is the correct spelling, the search engines offer way less results on this form.

Third, if you are REALLY willing to develop this, I recommend u just to get both domains and forwards one of them so you will catch both markets.

Conclussion

As raw value, i see TomarSol.com higher, high $xx low $xxx imo if not well developed, but I wouldnt understimate registering the correct spelling form and combining them.

Eth. I really appreciate the response. I always say "tomar sol" in reference to sunbathing, its shorter and maybe its a slang?

I just registered TomarElSol.com aswell. I appreciate the advice, i think they make a good package; TomarElSol.com and TomarSol.com.

Yes, I think it could be considered slang, or maybe more proper to other areas "spanish version", as you know (i guess you are at least partial spanish speaker, [FL]) it sightly difer from contintent to continent and country to country ... or even smaller areas like regions or cities.

The comment about the grammar and way to use the phrase is based in the original spanish (I am from Spain - notice my broken english? hehe).
