Tofu.cc sold for $1,000, I believe the seller is fellow NPer Fonzie.
If so, congrats Fonzie! Great sale and another sign .cc is slowly taking off :)

I shall put it in less blunt terms then :gl:

Good sale and great for .CC owners but I think it could do with a lot more sales like this in the extension to change my mind about the status of this extension.

He would pay $1,000 for Tofu.cc but not buy Doufu.cc (another common name for Tofu) to cover all of his bases? There must be some underlying reason why he would buy this as oppose to other great names he could have bought.

PS: Have you been given permission to give details of his sale?

Gdgd, Just making sure because not everyone want's their sales Blurting about B-)

Yup, Doufu.cc is available, that's what surprises me. Giving $1,000 for Tofu.cc... but not buying the other common name for just $19.99 aswell. I'd buy it myself, but I don't believe in the .CC extension I'm afraid.

Ive never heard of Doufu... and my wife is a vegetarian. I'm not too savvy in that area though. I leave her to her own disgusting habits and she leaves me to mine. :)

Doufu is the mandarin spelling. The food originated from China and popular there too. But I don't know why many give those oriental credit to Japan, like Tofu and edamame are in Japanese, while they are just basic food in China with their own names and the recipe spread to Japan thousands of years ago.
