discuss .today

[BoGoKing]

All...I purchased the following domains today. These domains cost me $60, but I think I may be on to something because of the .today that acts as a .com. and who doesn't want to make a deal/sale today? It was when I realized that every day is today and these names might make great eCommerce sites for all sorts of industries. Aesthetically these names look pretty good. I'm a business guy first, a marketer second, and a domainer third. What might you do if your were me? Thanks

Congrats! Would you like to share the name?

Just to let you know, I have an offer to buy one of my .today "crap" domains for $5,000

This is awesome! Would this be a first sale? Do we get details?

I'd be glad to if it weren't for three things.

1. the deal actually goes through (chances are good since we've done business before)
2. the end user approves
3. NamePros doesn't consider it "self promotion" which is against their TOS

Joe...I've sold one to a friend who just paid me what I paid for it. As for sharing details of the 5K sale, I'm not sure I'll be able to here, but I'll pm you when it comes to fruition.

Wish you good luck. You can always report sales in Report Completed Domain Name Sales Here thread if/when concluded. Thanks.
