TLD rating criteria?

Hello everyone.

If you were to "rate" the extensions, what would be the criteria? Something like:

1. Quality
2. Pricing (average)
3. Service (how the registry handles issues)

Popularity (obviously depeds on your location)? Availability (.edu is restricted)? Or maybe something else?

Please name your choice of three.
I'm not asking to rate, just trying to figure out what the best criteria would be.

for a commercial website .com is the default extension, but it really does depend on what the domain name and its potential... even for a commercial website a company might prefer a ccTLD over that of .com.

Let me clarify. I'm not asking about any extension in particular. I'm asking about opinions on general rating criteria.

Exactly. Let me explain further.

www.midano.com is coming soon. One of the main features will treat TLDs as "merchandise" that can be "rated" by 3 criteria of a choice. So I'm trying to decide which 3 to use or turn that rating option off.
