Tired of People Talking To The Mods

Exactly. How hard is it to just look for the correct forum.

I would say that 80% of the time the person finds the busiest forum and posts there intentionally just to get the thread noticed.

I don't see it as a huge problem. I mean, there are specific areas, but sometimes people are unsure. It's good to check with the staff first, but I think some people are unaware of the PM to Staff forum or feel that it's not an important enough thing to ask the Staff™.

Maybe the context in which they view their question doesn't match the context in which they understand many of the forum titles. Sometimes people don't know exactly what they're asking, so they try to find a forum that makes sense to them for their question, and when they don't find one, they move to the next logical forum.

Atleast these people recognize that they're possibly posting in the wrong forum, and are kindly starting there message out with a big notice that says "Hey, I don't know if this is the correct place to put it, please feel free to move it if necessary, and please stay off my back about it being in the wrong forum, I've already acknowledged that might be the case"...

And what's the sense in PM'ing a mod to ask the question just to ask if it's going in the right forum, I'm sure the mods have a better use of their time.

I'm with TS on this one, some people aren't sure where to make the post. I think I've also posted wrong a couple of times - not intentionally, more because I was so tired I didn't notice what part of I was currently cruising But hey, that's just me though!

I doubt people post in the wrong sections intentionally..
