ABC.XYZ = a short and valuable domain

99.5% of .XYZ names = worthless

.XYZ sales will probably rise for a while. So if you can grab a nice name like ABC.XYZ that makes sense is short and memorable.. then go for it!

Or a keyword domain which Is way more valuable then a 3 LLL... Keyword domains specifically dealing with industries that make money ... Banks.XYZ ect... These are names that will be worth the money...

Our overall goal when setting up these tests was ultimately to determine whether using a .Com domain name or a new gTLD domain name is better when it comes to search engine marketing and Google AdWords. We are not totally convinced that one is necessarily “better” than the other.

What we did see, though, is that Google AdWords tends to favor the new gTLDs, as they served up more impressions, for less cost, and a better average position then the .Com domain names we used. At the same time, though, when it came to conversions, the public appeared to favor the .Com domain names.

I believe the time has passed because I think not many people are admitting that theu registered or have .xyz because just check....most of the good names are already gone. I managed to get FindCoupons.xyz and FindCoupon.xyz

Are you trying to convince your self that .xyz will have any decant value, or you naively hoping that end users are reading this?

Common, seriously only half decant argument for any value in .xyz was that google had it, after which they went for all alphabet letters .com. I repeat for even those who don't know anything about domains ALL alphabet letters .com..

My argument is that my blog is the best in the world!!! Anyone believed that? LOL

Any one care to explain why is .xyz gonna suddenly not just gain some value, but will be one to go for?!

Should all of us, who have enough budget, shoot for our own extensions, surely one will be able to have better argument why they extension is better than all :D :D :D

It is no longer the time you had .com, .net . There has been great ad and promotion fpr this extention that it is becoming acceptable.

The other day, someone came to my work , a customer , and I asked if he had a website because he was talking about making one. Do you know what he had planned? Using .xyz... I was surprised because the country I am in know only .com .net .

I asked him how he heard about .xyz?/He said I made research lol and .xyz is like saying I have everything lol.

So people are there. Personally, I have like 5 domains l

Haha buddy you're one of the few I've managed to debate about this subject. So for the third time; let me explain something...

You have your opinions and I have my own but I study intelligence and you study dollar signs. Big difference in today's world. Keep hoping you're going to get sex.com or privatejet.com ... Just like every other person who is of common folk ... .Com has no longer extended the opportunity to small business owners for a chance to keyword domains or hardly three letter domains. %40 of TLD names are made up... So what does that tell you ? If someone has a chance to stash a couple one word premium domains with another extension which shows more promise then .Club and .Tv combined, I think they would be idiotic not to invest... Again though I know you're just following the professionals of this site... Tell that to Schwartz himself ? Why would he inves ? Why would Verisign sue Daniel Negari if they were not afraid of their market ... And most importantly why would Google continue to do business with XYZ after Daniel Negari refused to sell his company and Registrar to them ? Their paying him $6,000,000 USD a year for ABC.XYZ and if you didn't know my friend they don't own Alphabet.com because it's owned by BMW They own Alphabet.XYZ and the "Entire English Alphabet Spelled out" with a COM ending ??? Why in the world would they have opposing domains ?! There investors and COM is no greater then XYZ nor would XYZ be greater then COM ... Whole of my argument is, people keep saying that end users will go for new Gtlds because .com are overpriced, even then most end users will look for cheapest option, if they do, in which case most of people who invested in all the new extensions will hardly make any money, considering that most of them cost quite a bit to renew, right.. Do the survey maybe for price expectancy and how many of those who goes for Gtlds are hoping to land THE big sale not count the pence!!! Would be nice read then..

Don't get me wrong some of new Gtlds make sense and will sell for decant money, but what about the rest and that's at least 99% or more.. Are you going to take responsibility for misleading some of them with your posts? Will you pay them back the money when they go bust?

Even looking at the picture of new Gtld, .xyz is only one out of hundred or so.. Why will it be .xyz that'll make it big time not others?

Everything else aside .com makes sense, even for me and English is my second language! It's short for COMMERCIAL!! Care to explain to me if I was potential buyer, what does .XYZ stand for (all the ex famous Google hype away)

Why didn't .co made it when some believed that one made sense and was shorter than .com too!!!

What makes you think .xyz value will go up, instead of fading away and maybe next Gtld coming out..
