Is there a time limit on how long you have to wait to sell a domain after handreg ?

I.e. could I reg a domain and then sell 10 min later if I were that lucky ?

You can sell it straight away, however you would not be able to transfer to a new registrar for 60 days from registration date.

You can do a 'free push' to the buyers account at the same registrar (they will need to open and account at that registrar if they haven't one).

hope this helps

I think there's a 5 day wait at Godaddy after you register before you can push to another Godaddy account. It is to do with the 5 day grace period for refunds/typos etc. Probably so people don't buy a domain, push to someone else, then ask for a refund!

I called them and doublechecked on this a week or so ago as I was wondering the same as you Aaryn.

Welcome by the way :) this is a great place to learn.

Hi Aaryn, Thanks. Your site looks great, very professional! Awesome for a first one! I procrastinated for over a year before I go my first one underway! Since then, I have made quite a few over the last year or so, for selling Amazon products. I still don't quite know how I want my Honey one to look yet, it's a WIP. I know it needs a static front page, but I may have to ask about a good WP theme or plugin to display domains well.

I am a newbie too, still figuring out the ins and outs of selling. I have just been at this 3 weeks :o I have been reading and researching about 18 hours a day nearly every day since Labor day! This site is amazing for info and seems like a great group. I discover a new domaining MO every few days :bingo: Next up is studying backordering and catching drops :D

I think it is worth trying to get a refund if you are within the 5 days. Good luck. You know about the Godaddy coupons right?

See this thread, so you only spend a couple of bucks for each registration
