I registered tifr.org in 2010 for use with personal coding projects. There’s no particular meaning to "tifr", I just wanted a short, easy-to-type name and liked the sound and look of it. In the end I didn't really use it though and now want to sell it. Looking forward to any feedback on whether it is worth anything (not holding my breath though ).
Some consideration:
Some consideration:
- It is short and pronouncable, in the style of "flickr" and such, but not an actual word
- TIFR happens to be the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai/India, meaning it's an actual search term
- tifr.com appears to be unused
- tifr.org doesn't currently have a DNS entry, so no website and no traffic obviously
