My "Home Page" for IE is still set to the AOL news page.

I opened it a week or so ago and seen they had a news item about a place selling limited retro T-Shirts. AOL had linked to the wrong domain. They left out one letter. The one they linked to wasn't registered. So I grabbed it and put it up on SEDO. Guess what it got me....

Only 247 hits and 5 clicks for a total of 84 cents. I had hopped for more but seeing how it was only for 1,000 of the items the article was only up for 2 or 3 days. :(

Now I have no clue what to do with this domain. It didn't even earn me the domain fee back, lol.

Was it wrong of me to do this? Have any of you done something like this? Let me know your opinions....

well if major companies don't check their work , i guess it didn't harm anyone , to me not a big deal and it might have paid off , in a world where people make money of typos of big company names, this its not the biggest crime .....although unsure if santa will visit you ?

Well I got to thinking.. Maybe I should have emailed and told someone that they screwed up the link.

Plus I wanted to hear what others have done in similar instances.
