Thinking.

Of late i have just been thinking about things. I guess you could say im on a bit of a "downer" but thats not whats this is about but i think its what brought it on

As i am writing this now, im thinking about people who aren't warm, aren't wearing comfy clothes have no idea how rubbish windows it (How can we say windows is rubbish . . We expect to much in todays society-- Or do we?)

I am thankful for my family, whom are in good health i am thankful for my good education i am thankful for the healthcare i recieve i am thankful for my way of life!

A simple pen. . a watch glasses, a real toilet, music, Playing Halo!
Having good freinds, having a roof over my head

Its small things like this that i am so thankful for, and i have just been spending a few moments every now just having a think about this.

Here, here! I feel the same way, and try to never take for granted the luxury of having a warm bed to sleep in, a comfortable home, wonderful friends and family, and so many other simple things in life that many people don't have. Especially at this time of year I think about those freezing under cardboard boxes on the streets of our cities. Thanks for the reminder.

It is sad when you think about all of those people on the streets. It really is unfortunate. I have to admit that I am one of those people who takes advantage of things I have, well... not really taking advantage of it, its just that you don't realize how important something is until we don't have it anymore. Like Gene said, a warm comfortable bed, friends, family, etc. I know this may seem silly, but up here at college, everyone is always on their computer and using AIM. Every time the internet or power goes down, people are in the hallway within 10 seconds clueless going crazy, they dont know what to do. This is just a simple example of how we are accustomed to things and take them for granted and dont realize it until we no longer have it.

Thanks for the reminder, I was actually thinking about something similar as well.

time to reflect....we have to be thankful that we are not one of those people on the streets, but on the other hand, lets try to help those less unfortunate to whatever we can. Sometimes, little things are a big blessing.

I've been on both sides of the coin, many times.. I was born rich and will most likely die poor, lol! So, I know first hand how to be thankful for a warm place to sleep, hot food, and a shoulder to lean on.. but as hard as things can get, it always seems like the world keeps turning and things get a little better from time to time. All we have to do is wait for the clouds to part..
