I'm selling my site ThinkBeforePostingRubbish. Please take a look at it at www.thinkbeforepostingrubbish.com. Yesterday, we reached a peak of 997 visitors in one day. Most of our visitors are from other forums, in which people post the links when somebody posts something stupid. I have attached a screenshot of referrers so that you can see this. Yesterday, I earned $2 through Google Adsense. A small portion of our visitors come from our new affiliate program which offers a domain instead of cash. This was a great sucess, and helped us reach the peak point. There are currently three members who have reached the minimum payment of $10. The site owner will have to deal with them.

I'm generally looking for offers above $50, but I may sell below that amount.

Please offer through PM/posting.

Real-world example: you go to a casino and buy $100 worth of chips. After 24 hours, you acumulated $1,000 worth of chips and decide to cash them in. Can the casino turn you away and say that they won't let you cash in because "there was no contract"? Hello? Doing that will earn the casino owners an express trip to jail.

Not sure about casinos but with bookies here in the UK it is regarded as a gentlemans agreement and they are not obliged to pay out the winnings. This happened a couple of years ago where a guy won what I think was a couple of hundred thousand UK ยฃ on a bet, the bookie refused to pay as it could make them bankrupt, there was nothing the punter could do as they did not break the law. However the company in question got a lot of very bad publicity.

Snare seems like the desperate guy who's only trying to make money, no matter whose pride (or wallets, or PC...) gets hurt.

MAYBE he's using the downloaders to make the cash to pay back what he owes... or maybe he just wants to milk the Internet cash cow dry for himself. Take a pick.

Look, waking up and seeing this post grow to this extent I'm not very happy myself. It's not that I don't wan't to pay you, is that I can't. I never expected you to be able to get 100 clicks in one day, that's just too high. One I noticed that, I immediatly posted this, and when selling the site failed, I closed the affiliate program. And if getting 200 clicks is so easy for you, why do you bother over it? If it took you years, and years to get those clicks, then I'd understand, but you didn't. Right now, you're just taking advantange of a little guy like me, trying to exploit one of my silly mistakes of putting the CPC to high. And what makes me angry most, streetux, was that you had a click-through rate of just under 50%, which is totally ridiculous - and you call me a scammer. I'm really upset.

I do try to care, I really do, and I have in the past and I will in the future. This is only my first mistake, everyone deserves a second chance, don't lose my trust because of this.

If you knew me, you'd know that I was a nice guy. I was going to pay the affiliates back when I got the money. Loudcash paid a $5 CPM, which was (just) enough to pay the affiliates back without me making any profits. But on second thought now, seeing all the nasty things the said to me, I might take the things off. And Loudcash doesn't "infect" your computer. Here's a dictionary.com definition of "infect"
3. To invade and produce infection in.
All it's trying to do it install a harmless (yes, I agree it's annoying sometimes) toolbar onto your computer. It can't be worse than the Google/Yahoo toobar everybody else has.

Lastly, Phoog, I just earnt a little of money from a job on RAC, and when I get it, I'll pay you. Just do me a favour and remind me how much I owe you...deleted databases...I'll have to trust you on that one. As of streetux, :hehe:

I think it is time some people opened a window and smelled some reality.
You all wanted something from nothing and when you received nothing you complain. Not all people can keep promises due to various factors, not all of which are the dis-honest things snareklutz is being accused of. Some of the People who have posted comments in this thread are the exact people the web-site was targeted at.

Peace man!
To me, being called a scammer is as bad is being called anything else.
Are you sure you don't want the money?

Snare, this is done without the user's consent, correct?

If so, then it is a malicious website, and unacceptable within namepros.

Link to "tbpr" removed from your sig. Please check PM.

Agreements/contracts can be based on such things as a handshake, a verbal agreement...

"can" being the operative word here, "can be based" being the operative phrase.

Handshakes (the "gentleman's contract") and verbal agreements rarely hold up in a court of law. Again, no contract? no pay? no complain, please.

In business, all parties must look out for their own interests. All complainers on this thread did not do that. If they had, they'd have NOT entered into an affiliate program that offered no terms/contract. The result? Start at post #1.

I doubt it, given the events that have unfolded. You are, at best, a joker.

On that note, snare, your "rationalization " of why you should be allowed to FORCE malware on a person's computer is, well, lame, and holds no water. AND YOU KNOW IT!!!!!!!!!!! You think just like a criminal. You are obviously NOT to be trusted. To that I say, "you reap what you sow". Be forewarned.

This thread turned out to be productiive afterall. Your malware is far worse than not paying the pennies you "owe" to affiliates and you "rationalization" of it is even worse than that.

Lot's of people at SitePoint use LoudCash as well, so I don't see anything wrong about using it: http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=206862&highlight=loudcash People here at NamePros use it to. Check out the CPM thread.

Attached are screenshots of what it should be like:
First, the activeX tries to d/l a few files to your computer, so that it can ask you wheter to install or not.

Then, this window comes up

If you make additoinal 2 clicks, this window will come up, where you can view license info, and more about the toolbar.

"You must follow steps 1, 2, and 3 to access this website."

Is that an honest statement? The website won't work without the toolbar?
